Body Treatments Diploma (Part Time)

This course can be combined with ‘Body Electrics’ to collectively become the ‘Body treatments/ Body Therapy Diploma’. This course is a must for anyone wishing to enter the world of beauty therapy or complementary therapies and the Anatomy & Physiology and/or body massage elements of this course are often a pre- requisite for many advanced courses such as reflexology, Sports Therapy etc. It will be run on a part time basis. • The Respiratory System
• The Circulatory System
• The Lymphatic System
• The study of the skin
• The study of the cell
• The study of tissues
• Massage Theory
• The history of massage
• The effects of each manipulation
• The effects of massage on the systems in the body
• The effects of massage on stress
• Massage techniques & routine
• Body Electrical Therapy

This unit includes the knowledge and skill of using all the hi-tech body electrical equipment for muscle toning & cellulite treatment etc, such as:

• The study of electricity
• Body micro current - for muscle toning, cellulite & lymphatic drainage
• Body faradic - muscle toning
• Body vacuum suction - for lymphatic drainage
• Body direct High Frequency treatment for oily, problematic skin
• Body galvanic treatment for cellulite
• G5 - mechanical body massager
• Audio Sonic - vibratory massage treatment for tension or muscular problems
• Core Subjects
